Musée des Beaux-Arts, Rennes

The seizing of objects during the French Revolution, and mostly those from the former president at the parliament of Brittany Christophe-Paul de Robien, allowed the creation of the fine arts museum. The pieces of art are exhibited in the former University palace, opened in 1855 and called "palais des musées" since 1911.

Parc du Thabor

The orchard from one of the oldest abbey in Rennes has become the « Parc du Thabor » during the 19th century thanks to Denis Bühler.
